Rescued was not my usual type of read. That being said, I truly enjoyed this book. The characters were real and the situations they faced were true to life. The characters were likeable and persevered through hard times. They looked at their problems from all angles, remembering that the big picture was the main goal. The secondary characters were great and important to the story. I loved Hunter for his weakness as much as for his strengths. There were a couple of times that I got a little upset with Lorrie because of her doubts about herself, but each time she would pull through by remembering the importance of continuing to move forward. This book was a rollercoaster and I’m glad I went along for the ride.
