Loving the Men of Valor (MC)

Standard
Virgin Ride (Men of Valor MC) by [Barbra Campbell]
Rocky Road to HEA 5 Smoking Hot Stars *****

This is the second Men of Valor story that I have read and I have to say it is my favorite. Ace (Aaron) is holding on hard to his current life which he crafted from the ashes of his past. Sophia also carries scars from her past. When they lock eyes the feelings are instant. Their path to an to the end of this book is difficult to travel but Ace never seems to stumble. He tugs hard on my heart strings, hard and often. I love that he is loyal, protective, steadfast and recognizes what he wants and needs and goes after it. I want to tell Sophia to ease up several times during this story. Spoilers

I like that Aaron falls fast for Sophia but I love that he falls for the baby. I love that he pursues her and offers her unconditional love and is willing to accept whatever she can or is willing to give him I love that the MC takes care of the town. This book really hit me in the feels because of Aaron’s character.

Hard Ride : Men of Valor MC, book 9 by [Tory Baker]

4 Spicy Stars ****: Gage and Nova have been tip toeing around each other for quite some time. I like when they interact. I like their fire. I like the secondary characters, like Stella and Nova’s dad. I love the twist, that suspense keeps you on edge.

Cruz (Hot Shots Book 2) by [Tory Baker]
3.5 Loving Stars ***/

3.5 Stars I really like Mateo Cruz. He is a sexy surfer with a navy seal background. He is kind and loving and knows his mind. He is loyal and protective. I also like Luna. She is independent and does what needs to be done and does not cry over spilled milk. There were a few times that I feel the story was rushed and we were given details when it might have been better to see the actions play out in a scene, but over all this is good writing, easy to read and flows smoothly. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Preacher (Montana Bounty Hunters: Dead Horse, MT Book 2) by [Delilah Devlin]
4 to 4 1/2 Loving Stars ****/

The story of Preacher and Laura has it all. It is a case of insta-lust that bubbles to the surface among awkward moments and unexpected words. I love it. The suspense, the action, the small town and sweet people, the team coming together as a big family, all of it meshes together and makes for good story telling. All of the characters are well written and hold meaning in the story. The writing is easy and flows naturally. The story is intriguing and pulls you in. That ending though, wow, leaves you wanting more.
